“Since joining the EU in 2007 Bulgaria has been very popular for new migrants. New business opportunities have opened up, the cost of living is cheaper and the lifestyle is more laid back than in the west. But the bureaucracy can be very frustrating.

“For my project I have asked immigrants what they like and dislike about Sofia and how the inefficient bureaucracy has affected them.”
